Job Description

As a GameSight Editor, you are responsible for creating, editing, and publishing articles and content that resonate with our readers. You follow the latest trends in the gaming world, turn news into engaging pieces, and dive into analyses and reviews. Together with a small but enthusiastic team, you contribute to the growth and recognition of our platform.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Write and edit news articles, reviews, previews, and opinion pieces
  • Review contributions from guest writers and ensure a consistent writing style
  • Collaborate with the team to plan editorial calendars
  • Safeguard the quality and timeliness of all publications
  • Identify trends and developments in the gaming industry
  • Actively contribute ideas for new formats and creative approaches

Profile

  • Passion for video games and the broader gaming community
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in Dutch
  • Critical thinking and a fluent writing style
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and online publishing is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in journalism, communication, or content creation is preferred, but strong motivation and talent are equally valued
