Review Policy
Transparency and consistency in our reviews
At GameSight, we value honest, transparent and consistent reviews. Our reviews are intended to give readers and publishers clear insight into the quality of a game.
Purpose of our reviews
- Provide readers with a reliable and clear impression of the game
- Ensure consistency in scores and reviews
- Show transparency towards publishers and developers
Review Criteria
Each review is prepared based on several fixed components. These components each have a weighting in the final score:
Gameplay
40%Controls, balance, challenge, fun factor
Graphics & Art
20%Visual presentation, style, technical performance
Audio
10%Music, voice-acting, sound design
Story & World
15%Plot, lore, characters, immersion
Performance & Technology
15%Stability, bugs, optimization
Note: Not every game has all aspects (e.g. no story), then this component is weighted less heavily.
